Is There A Third Person View?
Just wondering since i cant play any fps games at all since they make me extremely sick and even upping the fov to 100 doesnt fix it for me. I even get sick from watching fps videos.

I know the stories of all the deus ex games and i actually wanted to play this one but it would be impossible unless there is some kind of mode that is not first person.

So i just wanted to ask >.> thanks for the help.

game is first person. it only uses third person when you enter cover.(not counting dialogue scenes and melee scenes since you arent actually controlling character)

Im not sure what it is but i think its camera angles and quickness. As an example I get sick to the point of vomiting in like 20 mins in cs go for instance and besides overwatch (which i have no clue why i dont get sick with it) i have never found an fps game i could play without getting really sick within the first 30 mins to hr of playing it. I have gotten used to it though and my favorite games are strategies but theres a few games such as this one i have always wanted to play etc.

I have mostly given up trying trying to play fps games these days because the after effects of trying to stays with me the entire day and makes me feel like a dumpster fire.

Ill try it when i get my new $1500 computer in a few days. And that could be it. I always have unstable frames from like 7 to 30 cause i have a horrid computer. It never occured to me that that could be it though.

Thanks for the help.

I have a friend who suffer's that same type of motion sickness, he come's visit from time to time and he sit's at my PC to play. Sitting there talking staying calm, but as soon as the game starts I see him jump from the chair rite into the monitor. It's like he become's the game. What I have to do is break that spell that consumes him and force him to refocus, with just a small distraction, talking, pointing at something, bump his hand, kick him stuff like, keeps him from going overboard. Point being maybe you to need a minor distraction like that. A radio, TV, out side noise can sometimes be just enough to break your focus keeping the sickness at bay.

If i don't do this he fall's back into the monitor within afew minutes. Let him play to long and like you he's sick and looking for a puke bag.

This works with him some of the time, it may help you, or you can visit your doctor and ask for motion pills. But try this 1st, then tell us yes or no

I always have my own music running and im like 4 feet away from the monitor at all times so alas that isnt the issue.

Thanks though

Have you tried lowering the FOV instead of increasing it?

Don't consider yourself lonely on this aspect. I also get headache and feel sick while playing FPS game, that's why I prefer Third Person Games, we are not made to play First Person i think, I thought the subject game is interesting and I wanna play it but I found it's First person so good bye to this game too.

I'd at least give it a try because it switches between quite a bit if you use cover often. Give it a try, then if you can't handle it two hours in, refund it! Also, I don't believe there is any view bobbing, and you might be able to change the FOV to a higher or lower number if you feel motion sick.

It appears you're suffering from motion sickness. Not sure how it works, but I hope in time, you may be able to train your body. Found an article that claims taking regular breaks, sitting in a cold room, proper posture, and ginger can help with sickness, so try them, but I'd start with something free so you have more than two hours to try
