Is this worth picking up during the summer sale?

I loved Mankind Divided, and I'm considering getting this game but the negative reviews are making me hesitate. What do you guys think? Is it worth the money to get it now?

Tabus, I was considering the bundle but I tried Deus Ex 1 before and sadly I coundn't get into it so I had it refunded. The Fall and Invisible War's reviews didn't make an appeal to me either.

Yes, MD is well worth the price, and the dlc is also really fun. Very remarkable game, honestly. It does sadly suffer from the "We might not get the third installment of Adam's story" thanks to squeenix, but we can hope.

I'd buy the Deus Ex collection bundle which has this, the first Deus Ex, Invisible War, Human Revolution, The Fall, and the season pass for this game. And if you own any of these games, the bundle will cost less for you. I owned all except The Fall and the season pass and it cost me 6,60€, which is actually cheaper than the season pass on its own (7,5€)

Yeah. I starts slow, but has some good story. Don't forget to buy the (version with) Season-Pass too.

Is buying the Digital Deluxe Edition the same as buying the game and season pass separately? Or do you get something extra because it's the "Deluxe Edition"?

It's the base game and season pass in a bundle, but slightly more value for money instead of buying them separately. You can just click the blue "Bundle Info" button to see what the Digital Deluxe edition contains.

I picked it up, havnt had any preformance issues running a old i7 950 oc'd 4ghz and an R9 290.
Enjoying the game so far.

Also if you have the original deus ex GOTY edition; you can get Deus Ex Revision for free.

I've never been able to start revision, it's the only game that doesn't work at all. Tried probably everything.

Don't buy it, its only half a game. Without a complete story it's really not worth it getting into.

However, that is a legitimate criticism. The story ends too soon, way sooner than it should have.
But it's still a good game and worth it at a discount. The gameplay is more polished than Human Revolution, your character feels easier to control, he can climb up walls instead of just jumping etc...

It's longer than many games. Even without the DLCs.And unlike story thin games like Half life there is actual story, tons of it.
