Criminal Past DLC Question.
Do they let you import your save info into this one atleast? Or do I need to spend 20 minutes in CheatEngine giving myself all my talents points and such back, again.

No, they don't, because Adam's augmentations are officially disabled in the beginning of DLC; plot's necessaty, if you will.
P.S. One of DLC's achievements requires to complete Criminal Past without augmentations at all.

But you get them back eventually?

Since it's a prequel to the MD full game, you shouldn't have any of this. Cheating to get your stuff is just cheap.

If it's a prequel to the main game I should have basically everything minus the Experimental stuff they added in the new game, If I get all of that then I'm fine with it.

Sure, by the end of DLC I've got about 22 praxis points.
P.S. You can get even experimental augmentations, DLC allows you to break continuity, so choice is yours - only classical HR or updated MD abilities.

How is fixing their lack of a import considered cheating? At that point in the main game's timeline the first DLC occurs I had like 56 praxis points and like 6 fully upgraded guns. You could handwaive the equiptment for contrived story reason but not the praxis of which they gave me like 10.

So not even close then to all the basics minus experiementals. Sigh... Well I don't got it in me to fix the game again so I'll just add this to 'do some other day' list.

You don't really need all the abilities, it's just a DLC. Max your inventory carry, hack level 2 plus turret and robot domination and you're good to go. The other augs just makes it ridiculously easy.

You do realise that this DLC occurs before the base story, right?

And yeah bit a of a spoiler alert but............ you start with all augs disabled. It's part of the story that you are stripped of them.
And modded guns?? You are in jail..... amazingly enough, the guards don't let you keep them either.

The way to play the game determines how/when/what extent, etc, you get your augs back. You can even go a route that you don't ever get them back. That's part of what makes the story and choices rich in the DLC. Story consequences, and play consequences.

If you add your augs in with cheats, that is selling yourself short on a story and play experience.

As it is, when (if) you get your augs back again, you can actually do a bit of off-lore play by choosing if it's the full range offered in this installment of Deus Ex, or to only select from what you have before the train station bombing.

I chose to go the lore friendly 'traditional' aug route just to make it harder.
