So is any of the DLC worthwhile?

Seems like it's mostly one-off items and standalone questlines that were taken out of the base game sometime during development.

Just buy the two questlines/dlcs if you want more Deus Ex. They are both very good, if a bit on the short side. The season pass seems like a bad deal though (heck, for me it is more expensive than the two questlines together).

There are three story-line based DLCs, and only one of those could be considered as being compatible with the main storyline of the game. The other two are connected with the main game only because Jensen is the protagonist. So its not actually true that these could be "taken out" of the main game.

That being said, the three seperate DLCs are about 3-6 hours each, with the latest (Criminal Past) stretching to nearly 10 hours. So in main-game-hours terms, each of these DLCs has a length of about 3 main quests. I wont go into details, but I would say that they are indeed worth it, although their total cost could be debateable (in comparison with the price of the main game).

Ah yes, I forgot about the free one, my bad (although it is very short). But yeah, System Rift and Criminal Past feel like completely seperate adventures with only a few minor ties to the events of the main game. They both contain next to no recycled content and if you want a challenge then Criminal Past in particular can be quite nasty.

Just do not buy the season pass, because of the useless and overpriced item packs it is pretty darn expensive.

Indeed the season pass at full MSRP is quite an unappealing offer. However it was only just last week that the season pass along with all DE games was priced at 18€. Although I had paid for HR and MD -almost- full-price, I didn't mind getting that package for just 18€

I cant beat the final boss. Do u have to finish the game before u can play Criminal Past? Can I load and earlier save point and still play this DLC?

Criminal past is worth it, a good 6-10 hours depending how you play. The map is prity large and there are a tone of ways to get around, it also gives you the option to use all ur main game augs if you so choose, which the other standalone dlcs dont offer.

How do u play the DLC? Where do u start the story. I want to play it but I cant get pastr the last boss fight.

Main menu - Jensen's Stories. DLC's save files are separate from main game's save files, so you can start DLC at any time.
