2560x1440 Bug

I am playing a 4k with refresh rate set at 60hz, when I switch to 2.5k res, max refresh rate is set at 30 and cannot increase it to 60, can anyone help me? thanks!

So you have a 4K monitor, want to play at 1440p but the max refrsh rate available is 30hz, is that it? Sorry, your post isn't very clear.

Yes. I have a 4k 60hz monitor. I am currently playing on 4k but get around 40fps (with the refresh rate on the display at 60hz). I decreased the resolution to 2560x1440 in order to increase the fps, but it gets stuck at 30fps. I check the display option, and the refresh rate is set at 30hz and won[t let me switch it to 60hz.

Are you trying to change the settings in-game or through the launcher?

Both, and the refresh rate thingy doesn't let me increase it to 60hz on 2560. If I keep decreasing it all the way to 1980x1200, it lets me increase it to 60hz. This is weird right? it lets me set the refresh rate at 60hz on 1980x1200 and 4k, but not on the resolutions in between.

Can you try and set your desktop resolution to 1440p and see what refresh rates pop up in the control panel?

I am checking Nvidia´s control panel and I see the same behavior. I can set refresh at 60hz on 4k and 1920, but not 60hz on the resolutions in between.

In that case you should check your monitor's specs and see what refresh rates are supported. It's not unusual for monitors to support different refresh rates at different resolutions.

But I think it's safe to assume it's not an issue with this game in particular if the same thing happens on the desktop.

Fixed it by creating a customized resolution :)
