I don't own the game on steam, but I do own physical copy I've bought in Russia when I was younger.

It's simple, really short point-n-click adventure game, based off of old russian cartoon made by very prominent animation film director, Alexander Tatarsky. There's currently flux of return to the old, good russian animations and stories from the soviet era, re-imagined or modernised for new generations. Some are just weak cash-ins, but not all of them.

Pilot Brother's games have been coming out, according to Wikipedia, since 1997. This particular game is from 1998.

At ~10 euro price point it's a joke, completely unsuitable and unjustifiable. I've managed to dig out a copy of 3rd game in the series, "Obratnaya Storana Ziemli" i.e. "The other side of the world" , which came out in 2004 and while I can't find the exact price, It couldn't have been more than 100-200 rubles, which at around 2004 I think was equal to 3 - 7 dollars.

Then again, as a point-n-click this game is charming, kid-friendly and not overly confusing. It's especially worth looking into if someone's interested in soviet-era russian cartoons and animations, which despite the period they've been made in, are of immense beauty and craftsmanship. Artwork in the game is not up to modern standards, but for 1998, it featured good, hand-drawn world and characters.

300 rubles is currently around 4,5 euro.

Thanks for mentioning the current price, as I said, it's been a while since I bought things in Russia.

Theoretically, price being higher in Europe is justified by "higher average GDP", but that doesnt really apply to all countries.
