hoti and twonk? broken?

anyone have issues with the hoti and the twonk?
my twon wont eat the hoti!

i drop it, or go to it and press e it just drops and he doesnt move,

same with the escourt quest the twonk just doesnt move,

how do i feed it if it wont eat it, also sometimes the fruit vanishes but it doesnt register as eating it

It isn't really necessary to feed your Twon-ha Hoti, but I tried a little experiment. The Hoti seemed to disappear as quickly as I dropped it, but by going to a clearing and dropping one near my Twon-ha it was quickly eaten.
In Motazaar you could try using them to get the distrustful Talan's Twon-ha to return, but I do it by using my HK-P12 and aiming at walls, etc., near the Twon-ha and eventually 'persuading' the dopey thing to go back. The aim is to keep it moving in the right direction, and not away from where you want it to go.
When you get to Okaar, get as many Hoti as you can and sell them in Talanzaar (Okriana) and use the cash to get/upgrade weapons, or to buy anything else you might need.

Not sure what the "escort quest" is unless you're talking about getting a Twon-ha from Zalinas to the other Talan, but that only requires a Gui.

to escourt the lost twon-ha to its owner, the hoti just vanishes but i found out why you have to let the animation of it eating stop first
or the gun works

i know to sell the hoti

but you do know its an achievement to give 20 to it right?

but for me, he wouldnt eat it or move, until i changed maps then tried then it worked jsut fine

use the gui? ive only used that once at the start map, after that i never need to use it (confusion)

oh for the roaming wild one in shamazar? later in game maybe

i do know the quest counters are broken, i did all quests in 3 areas and even the start area says its not 100% which is impossible.

also i found all the sticks in the mud, but no achievment
