If you're talking about the red/orange fruit found in the same area (the same fruit Yan has you try to get in the sneak test), that is used for at least one quest, and when trying to get Twon-Ha to move when you don't have their gui.
In Motazaar there's a Talan who wants you to get his Twon-Ha, but if you don't have Hoti to tempt it you can use your HK-P12 - but be very careful not to shoot it, just 'persuade' it to move in the direction required.
