Showcase: Foliage & Particle Brushes

One of the great features in Howler is the family of particle brushes: Optipustics, Bristles, Orbicles, and last but certainly not least, Foliage.

Since v9.5 we have the 'Shadows' option in the Foliage brush panel. It causes self-shading in a post calculation based on the surrounding branches painted so far. It accumulates as you brush a few more twigs and branches, and makes the foliage appear darker when it is surrounded by lots more of the same.

I guess a good workaround is to have it on youtube, at least it embeds that with a small preview and even better when you play it. So that works for slideshows and tutorials alike
