Cant really help you when you give us nothing to go on.

For example, at what point is it not working, when you start the game in steam, or when the game loads after you hit the big blue play button. What game world do you play on. And lastly why aren't you contacting support (its on the same page as the big blue play button) Its the weekend now so they probably wont answer till Monday.

Hello,
I may be having a similar problem to the initial poster. My game starts running when I press the play button in the steam window, but when I press the play now button in the game itself my game opens up the UBISOFT logo page and the hourglass keeps spinning without going to the actual loading screen with the bar art pictures.

I have been having this issue since 9/11. I attempted to reset my internet connection as I thought it may have something to do with it and no success.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Steam -> settings -> web browser -> delete cookies

Also open chrome and delete your cache there too.

If that doesn't work:

On the page with the play button, right side panel there is a big button with two cogs, click that, then see if you have 2 or more flash options listed. Try the one you aren't currently defaulted to.

Ok, I just tried to do as you stated and it did not seem to work. Any additional tips? Thanks in advance.

The Support wont answer if she/he has not payed at least once in such a case.

If you have not done this yet:
Right click Anno Online
Properties -> Local Files
'Verify integrity of game cache...'

And what the BB team did write some time is: "Delete completly your flash from your system and reinstall it". This seems to help in most of the "loadingcircle" issues.

None of this is any help. Following the Anno update, the program isn't recognizing Chrome for the flash player. downloading Adobe isn't a solution as '18' is buggy and causes system problems. I've reinstalled and still have the same problems.

I am having an issue with the game telling me my the flash player is not installed - I have Google Chrome already installed and it states the flash player is up to date. I cleared the steam cookies and have rebooted my computer. I am still getting the same message about needing the flash player to play the game - install and restart.

As an update - I get the error after hitting the play button in steam and before I get the Big Blue play button on the ANNO page.

Even if you have "chrome" installed. It does not mean you have flash installed. Chrome is using its own flash. So you would need to install the "real flash" to get it to work. And also play around with the settings. You can choose between flash und chrome launch.

Beside this, try the mentioned steps in the FAQ:

8. I have a Chrome/Flash player plugin error message at launch. What can I do?
You can fix the issue “the hard” way by following the steps:
1.) Make sure the game is not running
2.) Go into the “Anno Online” game folder.
3.) Create a folder “plugins”.
4.) Copy the file “pepflashplayer.dll” from your Google Chrome into this new folder.
5.) Edit the file “package.json” in your “Anno Online” game folder and change the path to the plugin to: 'plugins\\pepflashplayer.dll'
6.) If there is no path: please add the following to the list of “chromium-args”: --ppapi-flash-path='plugins\\pepflashplayer.dll' --ppapi-flash-version=18.0.0.209

Hello everyone,

after a new game deployment the game tries to find the flash player again. If Chrome updated a new version it can happen that this error message occurs, because Chrome keeps all old version in a folder and the game gets confused.

팀 라이스 | KeRoRo_Fighte already gave the right advise. Stick to the FAQ workaround:
