A bit of help please

So, been playing for a while now, and i am unsure where/how to go to... other places. I managed to find a few of the wizards, and unlock the minestroya, lava bakery, the volcanic wasteland place, random forest horse portals, and I think I went all over the place, as far as I can reach (yes, got hte spring). Only place I haven't managed to clear yet is king skeletron's crypt, having issue with the dark floor XD

But, anyway, question is... how do I get to the other places?, world map seems to hint there should be more connections in minestroya, but I can't seem to find any, nor in the other maps I can walk into. Am I missing some obvious exit?

You'll get to Laser Volcano from Ray Skeletron Crypt, for example. Also don't forget to check the Poptarts Academy for a quest about finding wizard Soylent, because it involves locating (and going inside) comic books scattered all around game wolrd (including some pretty nasty places like lowest floor of Ray Skeletron Crypt) AND to access one of those you'll need to find some pizza boxes with story script of TV Show "Ordinary People" written on them. None of the comics or pizzas found before activating Soylent quest will count towards its completion (so you'll need to re-interact with them).

Hi! I can't find the lower level crypt..I am just on normal level crypt.. a bit of help please?
