Reliable way to avoid crash?

I saw the issue with the Internet on Windows 10 so I disabled my internet access and was finally able to play. Brought the game through Humble Store and never saw the notice by the way, should put that on the store page there. Game still crashed after some gameplay. I have a macbook so I'm not too angry but still would like to know if this will be hotfixed and if there's any actually reliable way to play on windows 11

Adding my voice to this. Game crashed immediately. Turned off internet and game opened. Turned internet back on (I'm hoping to stream it) and it immediately crashed when the internet connected. Using Windows 11. Made an exception in my Firewall and everything. Please help!
