Scramble Glitch

I was going to replay this game from the beginning, but as soon as I got to the new words scramble in the prologue everything becomes a fuzzy white and the scramble page disappears. I can hit enter a few times and hear sounds like I'm doing something but nothing changes and I can't get back to the game without quitting to the menu and skipping over that part of the prologue through story selection.
