I think 2 & 3 are only on Steam because their publishers aren't the same as for the new games.

That's right. Since 2010, Synetic (the developers for the Cobra 11 gaming franchise, or Crash Time) and RTL PlayTainment have worked with dtp Entertainment and Bink Video for CT4 (The Syndicate) and CT5 (Undercover, the last in the series).

They were in the "Pending Greenlight" but i guess they didnt get enought support, because they were there in 2013/early 2014 then dissapeared all together, i asked the developers and they said they wouldnt have enough profit/risk for it to be worth publishing on this platform.

to be honest 3 is probably the best of the lot, 4, a close second because there is loads more space, and because i make racing cars for various games, including the crash time series and the fact there is a race track in 4 like there was in 3 only bigger and better i dont mind 4, i "peeked" at 5, got halfway through the tutorial and deleted it. thought nah this is rubbish

Good question. The first game is probably the rarest in the Crash Time series, I've never seen it anywhere sold in my country. Your best bet is to order a copy online.

By the way, there were several Alarm für Cobra 11 games from the same developers, athough unlike the Crash Time games, they weren't open world. The new games are still sold under the Alarm für Cobra 11 in German-speaking countries, the Crash Time title is only for the releases in the other countries.

Crash Time 5 is pretty much a NFS ripoff with the dynamic duo inserted in there for the Hell of it.

Crash Time 4 is okay, but the tasks of finding the hideouts and escorting the prison van can get a little repetitive.

I really missed CT4-TS for some reason, really liked it. But seeing that CT5-U is coming on Steam, then i have very high hope about CT4-TS on Steam too
