Not official supported but you can use a tool and play it with xbox360 gamepad. But with mouse and keyboard it's better, give it a try and you will never go back to gamepad.

left gamepad for other kids games like pure pool - you'll see why after you'll make your first shots in VP4

For Big Picture mode...

keyboard / mouse is boring that belong in the 90s

I encourage everyone to use gamepad you will understand why.

you did not understand anything
and you can use mouse and keyboard (wireless f.e.) in big picture mode.
gamepad is boring and belong to 00s

Is it capable of using separate keyboard & mouse for each player in 'hot-seat' mode? I supposed it wouldn't be 'hot-seat' play in that case, just muti-player on a single system.

As you can see from Andreas video, it is possible to use game pad. We are going to add better support for it, will be a couple weeks.

gamepad for real virtual pool game in pc?
this game is not an arcade game like "side pocket" of sega genesis megadrive XD

you are crazy man, with gamepad you can't feel the control of the stick in shots... this game needs a "mouse control" for real power shots

Much appreciate this will support gamepad.

Xbox controller is excellent and it can feel power on stick L / R

As today I have bought VP 4 as I was owner VP 2 and VP 3

I'm tired of people say gamepad is consoles kiddies video games which is not true... they never understand how good gamepad is...

We took a look at the gamepad. In game play we can do. But the complexity of the UI is not very good for gamepad as it would be not so much fun to naviagte. We also have a website that runs within VP4 Online which gamepad would probably not work on.
So that means we would use mouse/keyboard for interface/website and then gamepad for in game controls. Does that work for you guys?

Just think like you are holding the butt of your stick instead of the mouse when pressing S.

Works for me too. I really enjoy sitting back and playing games without having to lean over a keyboard.

YES YES YES, IT WORKS

we can use mouse/kb for website

gamepad for play, can switch when required

Works for me. Sad that I'm replying to a post that's closing in on 6 years old, and most likely gamepad support was entirely forgotten about.

How do you suggest using keyboard and mouse on a handheld Asus Rog Ally? Its similar to a Steam Deck.
