Graphic settings?
I'll start off by saying I won;t be able to reply to any answers I get, because even though I can start discussions, I can't reply because I don't have Safe Guard enabled - go figure the logic in that!!

Anyway, when I watch gameplay of this game on youtube, I notice the D and baulk line are really well defined and sharp, but on mine they're not so great, and sometimes disappear altogether. I know this will be a graphic setting (I let the game detect the best settings for me) but does anyone have a chart or guide as to what the best graphic settings are.

Thanks in advance and sorry I can't reply to any answers.

Set Anisotropy to 16, and AA as high as you can without killing the framerate. F9 will show an instantaneous frame rate counter on the lower right. Note that it only shows the frame rate correctly when animation is running, best time to look at it is when the balls are moving.

Thanks for the reply, pooljunky.

I've turned off the background to allow me more freedom with the settings, and now I have everything maxed out. Even now, though, the balls in snooker don't shine and reflect the light like they do in some gameplay footage I've seen. They have a slight reflection, but kind of look like they're made out of putty and have an overall matt finish.

Not sure what's going on - maybe it just got a refresh when I last closed it, but the shine on the snooker balls is back.
