Tracking lines not working

I know where the settings are for the tracking lines/ghost balls options. But when I turn them on they either fail to turn on (when game is started in normal difficulty) or if started in easy difficulty all I get are the ghost balls (which I don't want) and am unable to turn them off. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is there a certain key I'm supposed to press for the tracking? Pressing "F" does nothing as suggested with the text in game.

I loved "Virtual Pool 2" years ago, but to get back to a decent and enjoyable standard I need the tracking lines to learn initially. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

AFAIK:
- Quick Play all type of lines available + Ghost Ball
- Pro Tour Easy is only ghost ball with aim path available
- Pro Tour Normal - Good Luck no helping lines / no ghost ball available
- Hustler Easy is only ghost ball with aim path available
- Hustler Normal - Good Luck no helping lines / no ghost ball available
- Online Mode no helping lines / no ghost ball available

G= Ghost on / off
T= Lines on / off

Indeed, Andreas, you're right. Except that you quickly lose the aiming aid in "easy" mode in both game modes. I think it's due to a bug, don't you?
