Online crash, game tries to update something and closes

Anyone having problems with the game lately?? I used to play online all the time just fine, but now it just stopped working...
When i try to play online the following message appears:

Updating VP4 Online

Downloading VP4 Online Update....

Downloading vp4onlineS_4530.zip

After that the game just closes...I already tried installing again and verifying the game files through steam...Anyone with a possible solution?

I was using Vp4 Multiplayer version, this works with 2nd attempt

That's the same link posted multiple times above, it takes you out of Steam to Celeris' site/servers, where you pay a monthly fee for full access, when I (& many others) have already PAID for full access to the game in steam.

If you are still having issues, email your launcher.log and message.log files to [e-mail].
They are located in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Celeris\Virtual Pool 4 Online

Is there zero progress on this issue? I'm frankly sick of repeatedly paying a monthly fee to play VP4 online via the celeris servers (although I'll grant you they're VERY stable) when I've PAID for the privilege of playing this game right here in Steam? Refund me the 2 X steam purchase price (I bought 2 copies, 1 as a gift) if there is no fix in sight & I'll happily pay the monthly/annual Celeris fee

I just bought the game I when I press online it closes the game and back to the desktop. Two months and still no solution. Looks like I am going to refund this game.

Anybody that has been having issues with the vp4 launcher/updater, please try again. Before you try right click Virtual Pool 4 in the library, select Properties, select Local Files Tab, select Verify Integrity of Game Files. This will update the launcher. Now try running again.
If it fails to work do this:
Email to [e-mail] the message.log file and the launcher.log file along with a description of what you see happen.
Those files are in: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Celeris\Virtual Pool 4 Online
Note that AppData is a hidden folder so if it is not there do the following.
To show hidden folders:
Select the Organize drop down from the top left of the file explorer window
Select Folder and Search Options from the menu
Select the View tab
Find the Hidden files and folders and select Show hidden files, folders, and drives
After you delete the folders you can turn it back to Don't show hidden files and folders if you wish

I set all the exe's properties to run as admin in the steam game folder. I can now play online mode. Works great now. I have Windows 10
