the physics are great,
i recommend adjusting the controls away from default as, for instance i only use one keyboard button the rest is on my mouse, i make shoot button the space bar.
online community is very decent always 20-40 players in lobby and usually a game to play. there is a free version of this game but i dont recommend it as you get stuck with a small table
the 10 foot table is great to play on and the snooker. alot of people play 9ball and cowboy. and if you ever see player Slugs on just hit me up for a game or add. hope this helps
At least the mp aspect sounds positive.
not sure what sp is if your talking about the offline player vs bot, i only tried once so that i could get the v$ bonus to buy a cue.
Soooooo many different game types, could play by myself and with bot, and bot seems quite reasonable in terms of skill, goes all the way up to champion and i found the novice bot seemed to be a reasonable starting point.
Was trying to select a table and said i had an illegal table lol. really impressed with this game so far, physics are great and do feel pretty realistic imo.
My only minor gripe is that I'd love to be able to design my own table in much greater detail, and perhaps my own environment. Of coure, this is just me being over-indulgent, but it would be nice. Celeris, if you're listening? (I'd pay for this option)
way way beyter than pool nation.
It has its quirks, absolutely, but you won't find a better sim with a better control scheme.
Hell, I remember playing some early 0.9x builds of VP1 and it was just as engaging. One of the first games to support a zillion of SVGA graphic cards back then.
That's THE billiards sim, nothing ever came close to touching it. Unfortunately, since I for one would welcome some kind of competition.
I also found it actually improves your real-life game.
The only game that I continuously played since the mid-90's. If you're into billiards, that's the Solitaire of a time eater.
