Go back to sleep causes the credits to roll. Not sure on awaken. I have all the achievements so I doubt it does.

I did both and it rolled the credits either way. It didn't seem to make a difference, but maybe I just missed something?

I chose to get up and it still rolled the credits

TBF there are an annoying number of games where they give you a final choice and that choice might do something like give you one of two achievements or only one of those choices might give you the achievement. If you pick "wrong" you end up needing to play the game a second time to get your 100%.

So yeah, I can absolutely understand someone wanting to know if the final choice in a game matters.

The game is very much a one and done experience, not everyone can be bothered to sit down for another hour doing the exact same thing they already did to only potentially see a slightly different outcome.

Yes it matters but not in the way you might think. Awaken is start over. Go back to sleep is return to before the last stage.

I have tried both options now, and there is no difference that I can see.
Both choices just roil the credits and then return you to the main menu.
