Wall street - Ice creature

I have Eli and Mandana with me, and the only thing I seem to be able to do is place the wine on the ice table. No other interactions seem to do anything.

What's the way forward here? I've been stuck for ages and I feel like I've tried every single combination.

So, if you only want a hint: you've seen Mandana do something back at the headquarters that you might be able to reproduce here.

Use the bottle on Mandana. Then, with her inside the bottle, use it on the ice creature.

If you have Vicki on your team instead of Mandana you can put the bottle on the ice table, get Vicki to shoot it and then kill the ice woman with Eli while she is distracted

The solution is really obnoxious if you only have Eli and Mandana on your team - the dialogue and options kinda push you in two directions taken from the OTHER solutions of the puzzle if you had a different combination of people on your team.

i.e. you can place the bottle on the table but it does nothing (very confusing) and Eli suggests you should distract the golem so he can kill it (even though in the end he isn't the one to do so).

Relying on making a connection that Mandana can go into bottles is a major stretch due to the following reasons:

• The player sees this happening ONCE at the very beginning of the game - the time separation is too great in my opinion.
  
• We only see Mandana and Kalesh go into THEIR bottles, why would the player assume they can go into ANY bottle?
  
• The bottle we have is FULL, why would we assume a Jinn can go inside a full bottle (even if this is used for comedic effect later)
  
• The bottle we have is corked and we have no item to open it - why would we assume that Mandana can go inside a sealed bottle (even though I think the bottle is somehow opened magically)
  
• The way you use the bottle on Mandana is awkward - you can only use the bottle on her but if you select her character from the inventory and use it on the bottle (I actually made the connection early on despite the points above) she says she has no clue what you want to achieve - even if it makes sense that SHE goes inside the bottle, not "you force the bottle on her"

In my opinion there are two quick fixes to make the puzzle better if you have Mandana on your party:

1. Allow Mandana to be used on the bottle, not only the bottle on Mandana.
2. A slightly larger fix: Give the player some item to open the bottle with and put it e.g. in the liquor closet so we can make the connection that the bottle is potentially part of a larger puzzle (apart from the safe code) and that it can be opened/emptied so that Mandana can go inside it (much less of a stretch IMHO)

Other fixes would include redesigning the puzzle altogether given this particular combination of people. Perhaps even altering the dialogue so Eli doesn't suggest HE should be the one taking out the golem and that the player should merely dsitract the construct for him to be able to do so (Mandana has to kill it after all and the player doesn't distract anybody in this solution).

Yeah, I also spent ages trying to figure out how to get Eli to blast the golem because of what he said

I actually found the solution with Mandana by accident. I wanted to distract the golem with the wine (= dangerous for a small child) and used the bottle on Mandana so she would open it. I didn't really understand what was happening for a short while after that.

I agree, that the dialogue is really confusing with Eli and Mandana
