Windows 10 Configuration

Make sure the game is not running before making these changes.


1. Navigate to the default game folder on your PC and find the game’s launch file. It’s likely
to be something like:

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Broken Sword 3

2. Right click on BSTSD.exe and select Properties

3. Select the Compatibility tab

4. In the section labelled Compatibility Mode tick the box labelled “Run this program in
compatibility mode for:”

5. Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) in the drop down list

6. Click Apply and launch game

Xbox Controller Configuration

1. Launch the game
2. Select Options Menu
3. Select Controls Menu
4. Select Set Movement Controls
5. Scroll through and select Controller (XBOX 360 For … )
6. Go back to Controls Menu
7. Change each movement by clicking on it with your mouse and then the corresponding
button on your controller as follows:

Run: Left Bumper
Next Object: Left Stick
Previous Object: Right Stick
Creep: Right Bumper
Pause: Start
Inventory: Back
Action Map Up: Y
Action Map Down: A
Action Map Left: X
Action Map Right: B

It's working but the settings are not saved, i have to redo all the controller settings every time i launch the game.
