Is the game supposed to be this short?

I've been playing for 1 hour, apparently already 40% in. Broken Sword 1 took me 7 hours to beat. Technically, I should be done in 1.5 hours if the percentage is true, meaning that the game is only 2 hours and 30 minutes, which is kinda short.

Broken Sword 2 is definitely shorter than the first game. I think I finished it in like 4 hours originally, many many years ago.

Okay, good to know I guess. Kinda disappointed by that seeing as Broken Sword 3 is apparently pretty bad.

I don't find it boring; just frustrating as Nico keeps getting killed at the London docks no matter what I do.. It has taken me almost 7.5 hours using a video walkthrough and the in-game hint system to get this far.

I do remember being rather disappointed in how fast I finished BS2 back when it first came out, I think I finished it in only two sittings or something like that and being certain that the first had taken me much longer (although some of that probably came from The Goat). I was never completely sure whether it was because the game was easier, shorter or if I was just better at the games from having played so many

The game seems to be much shorter than the original. Just checked how long they took to finish.

It takes around 7-9 hours and is the shortest game in the Broken Sword series. The original took a bit longer to finish, but mostly because there was no hint system, no blinking items and there were actually loading times and the whole game was slower/clunkier.
