Controller support is definitely not going to be implemented for the first act. And I doubt it will be added for the second act either.
I'll correct you. The developer is currently busy creating the second act of Schoolboy Runaway, not Metel Horror Escape.
You need to click on the Moon on the main screen to the right of Andrew.
The thing is that when you select the "Challenge" difficulty, the dark time of day is automatically set, and then, to change it back to day, at an easier difficulty level, you need to click on the Moon.
