Words for Evil

What's the word game?
The game description describes everything but the actual game mechanics. All it says is "word game" without any hint at what kind of word game that may be. In the trailer I just see a bunch of letters and a text field in which the player can then randomly type words.

What is this word game? How does it work?

Not exactly sure how does this game works but some words shortened isn't going to apply in this game.

Basically you need to make words up, using adjacent tiles in the screen. If you find a word that goes through the coloured tiles, that uses the corresponding character's ability. If you go through 2 or 3 coloured tiles, it uses that characters special and then ultra ability, which you can unlock and beef up through levelling.

Also there are traps where you can use the entire board, you unlock chests by solving a conundrum and as a last stand for when you hero may die, you need to solve an anagram. The better you do, the more damage your hero does to the enemy before they die, or they might even heal.

I do recommend this game.

The word game Itself is like Boggle, accept when you make the word the tiles disappear and more fall down, ala bejeweled or the match 3 games. Just think a of a giant board like bejeweled, but with letters, and you play how you would play Boggle, make words with letters that are adjacent.

NB:- To anyone on the shelf about buying, you dont have to come up with massive words to play, you can have as much fun/gameplay coming up with 4 to 6 letter words.
Obviously the better the word the better the attacks.
I lazily took screenshots of some of the tutorial slides from the game and a sample pic of what combat looks like, hopefully it helps. Like people have said, combat functions a lot like boggle in that you combine adjacent letters (in any direction) to create words.

Hopefully this helps.
