Patrician 4 has lovely graphics, but even they are at times buggy and unnatural, apart from that though Patrician 4 is inferior to Patrician III in every way, there's less involvement with your micro management, less features, a lot more bugs and glitches and the game just doesn't pull you in like Patrician III can.

It's the same with Port Royale 2 and Port Royale 3, if a game works then don't try to improve the game, just the graphics otherwise you make a game that looks pretty but is as much fun as a bicycle with no wheels.

I have never seen a Addon or DLC for Patrician 3.
Patrician 3 is a full complete Game, not like modern Games with this crap "Buy BaseGame for 60€ and pay 50€ for all DLC to get a full complete Game"

oh I can remember my early days in PC gaming with part 1 of this lovely game. Just purchased 3 with an indie-bundle, never played before, now lets see how it goes :)

Patrician 3 is Patrician 2 and its expansion, renamed to Patrician 3 for the US market.
