Will we ever see a new Patrician game?

Hi,will we ever seen a new patrician game, that has the same desgin as nummer 3, i just love that. nummer 4 was just a big dispoinment for me. and i wont be really sad if series will die.
One thing about this game is hard, but you allways come back to it by time to time. the don't make a soild game anymore.

I think Kalypso has the license now. They've already made a dumbed down clone set in the caribean, can't remember the name.

With today's amateurish and dumbed down game designers (just look at all the historical details and immersion in Patrician 1-3 and the challenging gameplay missing from IV), chances are very low that someone surpasses Patrician 3. Well, some Patrician fans could unite and create an open source Hanse trading simulation, but where to find such talented people?

I would like that too, a new Patrician-game, there was Patrizier II, which was very good, they made it perfect with the Add-on, what made the English versieon Patrician III, though they made a very big mistake to make Brugge (Bruges) a city that produced wool instead of cloth, I live next to Brugge and I know its history, we almost had a war with France because of the wool from England... After this game there came games just to make money because of the succes, Port Royale for instance, Patrician IV and Venice, I tried all of them, nothing compared to P3...

I've sent an email to Kalypso, asking what thew current status of the game is and wether is is going to be refreshed. Playing it in 800x600 mode on WIndows 10 is painful. I've also asked if they would be prepared to release the code so the community can take it over.
If you agree I suggest you email them also, let's get a campaign going.

I would love a new Patrician game that can be More like P3. and yes Heevandering. i have tryed many games too, to be like P3. but it can't beat this wonderful game. and most of the games too are soo dumb down. what happend when you did achelly quit a game crus you did understand that or the AL did beat you at the race of being the great hansa! i miss those days!

I suggest you contact them yourself, if we all go in on the same ticket number or the same email, they are less likly to repond favourably, but if it seems to be coming from a numbers of different sources. That will be more likly to get their attention.

Speaking of clones, can't another company just make a proper clone of this game under their own brand?

The Spanish company FX plans to remaster the game very soon. They have already finished the HD version of the game Imperium III

I would be up for the task, but I would need to find artists who would be ready to provide the needed art.
