Lisa: The Painful will NOT launch, but Joyful will!

I get this error "An error occurred while updating LISA (missing executable) : C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LISA\LISA The Painful - Definitive Edition\LISA The Painful Definitve Edition.exe" - You can see the screenshot here. https://i.imgur.com/mtcL82r.png Of course my game is updated, of course I reinstalled it, of course I verified the game files. It still doesn't work, but Joyful does for some reason.

Edit: Neither will work on the Steam Deck. I don't see the executable in the game folder, either.
Another edit: As of 11:13 PM EST (exact time I got the patch) on 7/18/23 the game launches and the executable is in the folder.

I have the exact same problem. I can't even start the "Definitive Edition".

The download doesn't seem to include the files/executable the Painful - Enhanced edition as it doesn't have a folder for it like it does for Joyful.

PC, but I also can't start Joyful or Painful on the Steam Deck, either. Only old versions.

I'm also lacking the executable for Painful DE, although the Joyful DE executable does exist and can be played. For the dev, this is on Windows PC.
