How To Defeat The Road Scholars?

Every time i try to beat these guys i get my ♥♥♥ kicked should i use all my fire bombs on them? is it even possible to beat them? should i just give them my mags?

Edit: I just beat them but i used up all my firebombs... is there a way to beat them without using up the firebombs? or will i just get more later?

Yeah its those guys but i think im doing well now im just wondering if its possible to beat them without fire bombs cause iv tried not using fire bombs and i die every time.

i just beat the hair guys and i rescued the truck driver im heading back to the truck. Just got the truck in my key items.

Any particular order in which I should attack them?
For now, I'm going for everyone else, then for constantly confused guy on the left and then I'm leaving the boss for the end.
Best result: got everyone but the boss, because my teammate friendly fired Brad in the back (some nasty debuff) and then got his ass kicked 1vs1 by boss without me regaining control over him.

if your going for a joyless run (like me) i found out that you can just use 1 joy on olan and rek those skrubs
