Can you beat Buzzo?

Is it possible to beat him?
In my second fight against him, I had Birdie (Lv.25) on my team and used his gasoline spit after Buzzo's attack missed and had Nern (Lv.25) used Dirty Insult to piss him off in order for a chance to hurt himself. I was not competley sucessful. Does it do anything if he is beaten?

How do you even fight him?
Do you have to go back to the warehouse where he gave you the Joy the first time?

When gives you a choice, choose to fight him. It is story based.

I see, well then let me parrot what I've heard on the subject then.
You can beat him if you have high enough Evasion and a way of inflicting status, Fly's puke is OP from what I hear, I've yet to go to garbage Island; perpeturally stuck blowing the damn karate village up. But if you do beat him its a game over.

BOI if just go over the people who keep blowing the karate village up, also fly,s puke helps with draining health and maybe blinding him but I saw someone kill him with RT, Bo, and Fly

You can defeat him, but it just leads to a game over as previously mentioned. There is a mod that just alters the scene and allows you to actually beat him without a game over.

As other people said, if you defeat him, you get a game over, but if you want to defeat him, use Fly, Harvey, and Sonny, but that's just the lineup i used, you can also use RT, Bo, and carp.
Just any character that can inflict multible status affects that stun him. The same can be done with demon X, the only other character that cannot be killed without using stun combo party members. Overall just try to get lucky and hope he misses Fly, or leaves one to revive fly.
