Arm VS all your stuff
So what exactly happens to brad when he losses an arm; what kind of stat loss/de-buff are we talking here? Is it worth it to keep all your stuff?

you can get stuff back, its just stuff, but you cant get your arm back, that should be the easiest choice in the game mate.

Yep, The guy above me is entirely correct, I find the way to go is to sell all your items & invest in the booming Hat industry before going there (SO at least you get some money back) but sadly it's a bit of a strange choice that one... It really is. Because in the Mechanics, Everything doesn't actually mean Everything. (Just your items & Mags).

Also another idea is "don't" do the Russian Rolette until after this part, since you can make a ton of mags from it and after he robs you (if you choose that) then go back and play it, then rebuy most of the stuff needed.

I gave up my stuff right away; I was gutted, but definitely wanted to keep both armies! XD

Leaving roulette for later definitely helps make that choice a lot easier, though one thing people should also keep in mind is that TNT is a normal item rather than a key item, so if you haven't unlocked all the caves it can open yet (there were 3 or 4 of them in Area 2, can't remember exactly), then you'll never be able to if you already acquired all the TNT, and give up your items. It's not too big a deal if you're sure you blew up all the rocks beforehand, but if you're not, may wanna check to confirm before potentially giving up your items.

Someone recommended I keep my items so I could use the TNT against Satan. With it, the fight was trivially easy, but I don't know if it really would have been much harder without it. Longer, certainly. :rickweeks:

It is not that much harder if you are overleveled. However, if you give up both arms, do you get the selfless ending?

I never grinded, but I did every side thing I could find and used Bo, the drunk guy with the oil attack, and the many-swords guy so every fight up until the end was pretty easy.

As far as I know, there's no "selfless ending." I got the selfless achievement, the Joyless Ending achievement and the bonus scene at the end despite having taken Joy once very early in the game, though, so maybe being selfless can override Joy use when determining the ending?

Why is saving your arm and giving up your items considered "Selfish" ingame?

Buzzo actually donates them to clinics.

I'm sorry. I meant the selfless achievement.

Bad-assDude: sarcasm? After losing your first arm you find it on the ground later.
