Is there any benefit to not taking "Joy" ?
Like Brad quit taking "Joy" in the intro sequence, but at the same time i keep having Joy withdrawls, so i'm curious if there's any benefits to not taking it like maybe plot-wise or something.

Yes, not taking Joy affects the game in more ways than just giving you the withdrawal status. I'm not sure how big the difference is, but I hear that not taking any during the entire game changes some things.

What do *you* think Brad should do? The most interesting and rewarding way to play this game is by taking responsibility for your actions, without knowing how the mechanics work underneath the hood. If you feel the need is too great, then give in. But you're furthering a decline that the game is trying to point out to you.

Personally, I don't want Brad to continue his dependence on the drug, I want him to kick the habit and become clean, hopefully coming to terms with his issues.

It gives you an extra scene at the end of the game, otherwise it doesn't change anything.

I'm sure a lot of us hoped the same

Remember, Brad wants to stop taking Joy, But Life hurts, Life Hurts alot.... And Brad doesn't want to hurt... And Joy feels so good... But what about Buddy....

You've got the Joy, The Joy Deep in your Heart. Joy, Joy, Joy.
