My suggestion if you are going for the Joyless ending, do not use any other characters that require Joy. Make it only be Brad.
But I love Buckets :(
Another thing that heals withdraw is resting, so you can use that to control the joy addiction to some extent, but that obviously won't help when it hits in the middle of a dungeon, heh.
Birdie makes the game super easy tbh.
I have already finished the game 2 times, first time I use joy like a real addict; but my second play I didn't use any pill.... so why I don't get the Joyless achievement? Can someone explain me?...
Of course in one of the scenes, buzzo makes me eat 3 pills of joy in front of Buddy... but come on, does that count?
Or is because I hold some joy on my inventory but without using them.
