Russian Roulette - UGH

Loving the game so far, but disheartened by Russian Roulette. I get that the game is designed to be harsh, but the harshness has always come from my choices.

I played the story straight through to this point. I lost party members, I lost more than that... but I kept it without reloading saves because the results were from my choices.

First try at roulette, 5 party members killed in a row and the last one can't fight.

I'm reloading this one until I get everyone through. I just don't think it fits with the rest of the games awesome theme :(

Wellp 6 runs failed so far... this is just bad design. I'm not making any choices. You know what would be fun? If making your character walk had a 5% chance every step to break your legs forever, and then you can't move. That would be fun.

I used Terry Hintz for the Russian Roulette part. He won every time.

I don't know if it's just a placebo or if it really works but it seems characters with a higher LUK stat have a more frequent success rate in russian roulette, if that halps any.

Sheesh, when I used Terry Hintz, he died right off the bat
It's pretty much trial and error though, it's frustrating but I got by third time around without too much penalty

I lost Terry earlier in the game. Like I said, I played on, because it was my fault he died. But this is just total luck :(

That's just how it is sometimes. Luckily it's the only situation of it's kind.

I reload several times until I found that the best choises of the sequences: i think the result of the matches is based on lucky but i use in the first turn Percy, the second and the last i use Fardy and I lost no one.

I used Fardy and he made it through the first two no sweat. Then I decided to use Percy on the last guy, died right away and then Fardy cleaned up. I do admit the first time I fell into that place I lost 3 members just beating the last guy. I think I lost 5 total. (I reloaded all the way back about 35 minutes). Second time I accepted the single loss and moved on.
