How to fix the game's resolution.

I figured out how to make the game big and keep it HD.

Type into google how to zoom into a window on Windows 7 or 8 depending on what you use.

For Windows 8 it will say something like this:

To open Magnifier using touch or a mouse

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings. ...
Tap or click Ease of Access, tap or click Magnifier, and then move the slider under Magnifier to turn it on.
Magnifier will open in Full-screen view unless you change the settings.

For Windows 7 it will say the same thing about a magnifier with different instructions.

Long story short, play the game with the smallest screen size, then just click Windows key and + key to open magnifier, and click Windows key and + key to make it 200%.

This should be default from the game itself, the current fullscreen just ruins the graphics. I used to play with the smallest screen option, now this magnifier thing got even better.

if you open game.ini set fullscreen to 1. the fullscreen ratio probably does something but i can't get it to work but if you put fullscreen to 1 and everything else to 0 its full screen with black bars on the side. this is the best i could get it

wish setting fullscreen ratio to 16:9 worked but i assume this game was made before widescreen was popular
