Dead girl in the Joy Labs.

I wonder what the dead girl in the labs have to do with the story, i know it is probably Nancy. (Dr. Yado's daughter as told in the joyless end scene.) But i still don't know how it affects the story and what it is trying to tell. And what does the note mean? It says something along the lines of ''I'm sorry darling, it's just.'' It just cuts off mid sentence.

I want to know your theories of what happened and why, and what clues that are found in the game.

Well, considering the flash happened quite a while ago, at least long enough for Buddy to grow from a baby to a young girl, you'd think that a corpse would decompose.

That's one of the main concerns I'm having with the theory. Can be just a plot hole, though.
The corpse looks almost fresh, and even if you imagine that the labs are supposed to be kept sterile and, sometimes, in sub-zero temps to preserve whatever materials stored there, the condition of that Joy lab was very far from these standards.
It was almost, what, 5, 6 years since Buddy's birth? Her mother's body would be in skeletal state at this point, unless she was killed recently, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense either, since the creeps have been roaming the halls for god knows how long.

Here is what i believe.

1, The dead women is Buddy's Mother
2. The not next to the dead women says "Sorry Darling, This is Just" which leads me to believe that Dr. Yado told his wife he wanted to use his daughter as an experiment for "JOY" and any good mother would say "HELL NO YOU'RE NOT USING OUR CHILD AS AN EXPERIMENT" and Dr.Yado felt so strongly about this "Joy-Project" that he killed his wife, and continued on with the experiment.

But i might be wrong since this is YEARS AND YEARS later, unless was held prisoner for a while...her body was still fresh as well so she died not too long ago. Possibly this women killed herself and left the note for Buddy to possibly see, which is a LONG-STRETCH of a theory lol.

Those creep-mutants are outside of the room while she was locked in that cell so its hard to decide could of possibly happened.

I really don't think Yado is involved with her at all. Even the Trumpet Man thing aside, you see a Joy Mask right outside the entrance of the area, which really makes me think Buzzo.
He did mention "the other girls," so maybe it was someone from his group.

All of this right here. I don't know if a Pain only thing, or you got to meet some special requirement, but I have seen a few pics of people inside of it.

I tried everything I could to get in there.
