DEATH BATTLE!! Brad Armstrong VS Nes (Earthbound)
(Although I've originally wanted to post this thread on comic vine. I decided to put this thread here instead)

Who would win? In terms of setting the fight will be taking place at Marty's Island from LTPRPG. There will be some limitations however.

Brad is currently at Level 30 and has the Silk Poncho, Hyper Hair-Gro, and the Queen Bands along with Satan's/Mike's belt. Brad will have no allies helping him out.

So who do you think would win?

What kind of stats are we talking about for Nes?

Does Brad have both arms?

There's just so many variables lol

Hmm... I forgot to mention that Brad has both arms...
Is there an item in Earthbound that makes every attack a crit?

Also, is Ness no longer a small child?

If Brad had Birdy tho...

I am not in favor of either side. But PK Fire does make Brad's Fireball look like a lit match.

OK....Bottlerocket Vs Firebomb?

Depends on what type of Fire Bomb... I think Diesel Firebomb is equal to Bottlerocket.

We cant forget the ending of lisa, spoilers ahead obviously:

Brad beat rando to pulp.
You drive full force with a motorcycle against rando, and he just stands there and doesnt even fall over and walks away unharmed. To that brad is able to do this after being impaled several times, having no arms and having beat his own party members and killing a small army of men with weapons, without being under joy that is. Brad is able to get limbs chopped off without much complaining.
Also when you go to the lifting part you can see that he is able to lift a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
There are quite a few times in which you can see the true power of brad, for instance all the mutants from which are able to instantly kill party members with a single attack, or satan.

Brad might not have the mental powers anywhere close to ness, but holy ♥♥♥♥ if brad ever came near ness he would just rip him apart, there is no possible way that ness could physically get anywhere close to brad.
So in the end it just boils down to how long ness could stay away from brad and also manage to hit brad.

In a fight with party members brad would instantly win thanks to birdie hall our lord and savior

Ness can win if he can keep brad away, otherwise Brad could win

*Spoilers for both games*

In as far as Brad's accomplishments go, Brad has only ever had to take on humans or mutated humans (as well as a handful of wild animals). Ness has been able to take on humans, psychic humans, giant robots, dinosaurs, dinosaurs much larger than anything that has ever actually existed, tons of overpowered aliens (coming from an alternate future where they have conquered the world), the undead (in multiple forms), and at the end of his adventure he survives a barrage of devastating attacks from an omnipotent cloud of pure evil that has been incubating outside of time itself. For all of what Brad accomplishes he doesn't really survive it in the end.

Brad's extreme strength and martial arts skills make him a devestating adversary- but Ness's PK abilities are somewhat of a trump card against melee-only foes. This combined with the actual portfolios of each character (again, Rando and his army is nothing when compared to Giygas and the Starmen) is enough for me to think that Ness would likely come out on top in this situation- and this isn't taking into considerating Brad with or without Joy/Withdrawl (which I'll chalk up to being similar to Ness's homesickness). But, that is only my evaluation. Every point made thus far has been very strong.

Just for clarification, I was giving Ness credit for surviving the confrontation with Giygas rather than giving him credit for the defeat. But I agree, the mutants Brad faces are extremely noteworthy for their brutality.

I'm just going to add my little comment here,

If the battle is done via game play stats, then Brad would be the obvious winner as he can dish out more damage than Ness's capped health.
