Personally I wouldn't put Terry in my party unless I had to, especially as I'd have to level him up as he hasn't been used after I got Rage McLuchaface (which quickly got replaced too, anyway).
Except Terry has actual uses (however limited they are) until he starts being able to work well (very late).
