About status effects (concretely remove oiled up status):

We need more information about status effects so we can know how to deal with them and so remove them. Indeed i have no idea about how to remove oiled up status (need help desesperately), thank you in advance =)

All ailments get healed by resting. Aside from that, the "Bottle of Water" item heals some ailments (Hungover, Burning, Weird, Scared and Confusion), Cigarettes heal Poison and Deep Poison, and certain characters have skills that can cure ailments during battle (like Bo's "Siren's Call"). If the problem with Oil though is that it's not being cured though, you may have the Greasy Poncho item equipped, since that makes the equipped character oiled up until you remove the item.
