Russian Roulette Loophole...
Am I the only one who decided to do this during Russian Roulette?

Before entering a match of Russian Roulette, save your game, that way if you lose a gang member to Russian Roulette you can just restart from your last save. Do this after every match so you do not lose any of your gang members. It will take a while, but the Mags and New Gang Member are worth it.

I tried, but I ended up valuing more my time than my companions, after that I got Bo and Tiger Man anyway, so they ended up being my main party the rest? Just memories.

Yeah that's called save scumming. It's not generally liked around these parts.

Well, people should do whatever they like, I didn't have the patience, but if he does, there is no problem with it. Even I tried to save scumm that part, but boy is that tedious.

On my first playthrough I played on pain mode, so I skipped doing that until the end of the game. Then went back with Crisp and used him. He made it through all 10 matches without dying, so I'm wondering maybe if he's meant to be used for that? He's pretty worthless otherwise.

Also, Buckets is a pretty useless companion tbh. If you're out of joy pills he's 100% useless when on withdrawal, so he's not really worth it imo.

On my second playthrough I saved between each win.

The 1st time you meet the russian roulette dudes, are you always forced to play 4 times ?

3 times. But after that you can play it 10 more times for mags and another companion.

And those mags will set you up for a long while.

At least over 3000 mags

Wait, can you get back to the Russian Roulette place? I had left after playing the required 3 rounds and saw no way to get back up to the doorway after leaving?

I used him a lot, as soon as I got him he was a companion to the end, him and Tiger Man, 3 addicts counting Brad, can't say I had a lot of trouble. He's very op actually.

I wouldn't call him OP. He's pretty good on joy, but on withdrawal he's utterly useless, same with Tiger Man. OP is having Birdie put oil on the enemies and then using fire attacks to deal 5-10000 damage per character.

I never used joy, he has very high damage and is very resilient, he is OP the addiction doesn't even influence his skills that much.

Wut? All of Buckets skills are attack based, withdrawal guts your attack damage. Withdrawal influence ALL his skills. The only skills that do not get influenced by withdrawal are SP based skills.

I dunno which game you're playing, but in my LISA, all of Buckets skills deal almost no damage when on withdrawal.

Also if NO skill is affected by withdrawal as you say, what's the point of this punishing mechanic? (well not punishing at all according to you)

Just standard attacks are affected, if you use the menu it has almost to no effect.
