-Jack is essentialy AOE fire mage, he ll find a good place in any oil setup party
-Buckets can equip 2 weapons, meaning he can deal alot of damage very fast, he has no AOE or debuffs so he is more of a boss killer. However he is a joy addict so hes not very usefull in joyless runs.
-Havent tried out D.CK that much but he can buff the whole party with his party time skill which raises almost all stats, and avarage damage of his own. He s a joy addict so I never found him too usefull.
-Garth is indeed alot like Bo, in that all his skills are buffs/debuffs, he can be an alright support character if you need one. But I dont find him that essential.
-Geese havent tried him much, but he deals strong single target damage and can also inflict posion and paralisis, not sure if he ever gets AOE.
-Crisp he sucks, he can inflict bleed but consumes too much sp and misses often
