WTH is TP?
I'm only at the beginning of the game, where you meet that guy who talks so much about his wife and neighbors. He has this ability to add to teammates TP?! What is that? I only see HP and SP?

If I remember TP goes up with regular attacks/turns so it's a different mechanic than SP. Might be wrong though. Some characters have SP, some instead have TP.

So its useless on characters who don't have TP, right?

Also, nice name lol!

TP is never actually explained in the game (Terry must have forgotten to put up a poster about it) so we've been getting a lot of threads about it lately.

TP goes up when you're hit. The harder you get hit, the more TP you'll gain. So if a character gets one hit ko'd and you revive him, he'll have a full TP meter. (This is actually a pretty legit luck-based strategy for boss fights).

TP also goes up when you attack, but very little, or sometimes not at all. Mad Dog has a skill that gives him 20 TP but costs 5 and also makes him more likely to get targeted by enemies. So it's kind of a tradeoff.

The only item that restores TP in battle is the Lucrative Tea.

In my opinion TP>SP because you'll never have to worry about restoring a character's TP outside of battles, since they start every battle with roughly the same amount. SP on the other hand carries into other fights. And most characters don't have a way to replenish their SP without an item.

So yeah. That's the skinny on TP. I hope it helped.
So what's TP?

TP is sort of a mix between MP and an overdrive gauge. It goes up when you attack normally or take damage. Certain characters use it as a fuel for their abilities as supposed to SP

I think the earliest TP character you can get is in the first bar if you want to try it out. He's really cool!
