[Spoilers] Area 1, about Rick
So, I'm redoing a playthrough to get the Joyless achievement. Is there anyway I can spare Rick after tying him up? Or does he have to die? I don't wanna kill more folks than I have to. :(

don't actually kill him during that meeting, you just beat him up.

That particular event's set in stone. Nothing you can do about it.
