Beastborn has always low TP

Hey everybody,

I just added Beastborn to my team. Weirdly, when I'm in a fight hes always has like 11 TP. Even after resting and with no status effect. What can I do?

That's how all TP-based characters work. They gain TP by attacking or taking damage. Nern can restore ~30 TP with one of his abilities too.

Note that you can't actually tell which characters use TP by looking in the menu. Everyone has SP there.

Ah I see, thanks. Would you say that Beastborn isn't a very good companion? I'm thinking about switching him with Onan. My team so far is Terry, Nern, Brad and Beastborn.

Thanks you a lot. I don't necessarily feel attached to Terry (he kinda sucks), but read somewhere that he becomes very strong later on. I hope I don't spoil myself now, but will I regret dropping Terry storywise? Like get a bad ending because of it or something?

if you level terry to his max level he becomes strong, and if you bring him to the end something interesting happens. *BUT* you will not get a bad end for dropping him in favor of someone else so if his weakness is annoying you then go ahead and do it

I always used BeastBorn early on, he is tanky and does quite a lot of damage. His Critter attacks are pretty good against bosses too.
He does definitely get outclassed eventually though.

Overall I wouldn't worry a whole lot about the companion's combat prowess, you can make any team work without too much trouble, unless they're all joy addicts. Just go with the guys you like best imo.
