(Thank goodness that balloon was there to stop him, and also Brad.)
Terry was NOT a lair. He had countless fans. They worshiped him upon his mattress throne in his little Terry Land, following every hint he left. However, one fateful day, Terry mysteriously disappeared (along with his balloon). His fans, lost without their idol, were distraught and had nothing to do. They tried creating mannequins in his honor, but they couldn't cover up the missing Sweet Terry Wine. They even tried replicating his wonderful hints: no luck. The guilt from falsifying those hints and their missing God drove them all insane. With nowhere else to turn, the fans either left to scatter Olathe, searching for their idol, or committed suicide right by the throne.
Terr Bear was right all along. Maybe I am a jerk for giving him away to Columbo (but come on Terry, you didn't need to kill Fardy. Or Garth in my other run. Or Buckets in my other OTHER run. Meanie.)
Ding pretty much confirmed this in a stream
