Why is Buzzo so strong?

Buzzo took joy aswell, and he turns into a mutant in the Joyful.

Thats because otherwise it would be too easy to kill Buzzo and fck up the story. Buzzo is a very important character in the series, and it was necessary to make him invincible to force you to make choices. If he really was that powerful thought, he would instakill Sweetheart in the joyful so my guess is its just for the story.

Thats because otherwise it would be too easy to kill Buzzo and fck up the story. Buzzo is a very important character in the series, and it was necessary to make him invincible to force you to make choices. If he really was that powerful thought, he would instakill Sweetheart in the joyful so my guess is its just for the story.

But Sweetheart is incredibly strong joy mutant. And Buddy must be very strong too, Big Lincoln seems to be tough guy and possibly on par with Satan.

Yes Sweetheart is very strong but look, Buzzo was like "making asteroids rain" powerful in the Painful part. So.. I dunno haha (I know it wasnt asteroids but still so strong)

Yeah Sweetheart is just that strong in Joyful, imo. And Buzzo does even beat her so he's definitely strong as ♥♥♥♥. He's as close to a super soldier as Yado ever got, seems like.

Well now that I think of it the ground is shaking when she arrives, and she slaughtered entire gangs.. yea maybe Sweetheart was that tough after all ^^
Yado on the other hand looks weak af. Apart from his obvious superior intelligence

When it comes to Yado's own strength, it seems that he relied on his control over strong mutants to be on par with Buzzo. As for Buzzo himself, it's never really explained how he got so strong. Nobody taking joy, nor any mutant had ever matched Buzzo's offensive strength. Even Sweetheart was likely only able to stand against buzzo due to her insane endurance. There had to be some sort of experiment involved that had made Buzzo so strong, though it could have possibly involved joy since he himself became a mutant once he was weakened by Sweetheart.

Well, when Brad was giving everything he had during the Painful ending, he was as well strong as hell but when he got weakened and almost died, and Buddy destroyed his feelings he turned.
Maybe Buzzo was as well empowered by the joy as long as he had the motivation to make Brad suffer, and then he realized his hatred for Brad was just a mistake + physically wounded, he turned. So yea I think this is the same as Brad during the fight vs Rando army, but maybe for a longer time. IDK

It sure would, but it wouldnt explain why Yado would not empower himself over 9000 if he knew a way to be powerful without turning at all. So yea i cant see why it would work for Buzzo

Yado is a smart man, but he is also a coward. He prefers manipulation and insane amounts of planning over brute force. Not only that, but the fact that Buzzo mutated proved the method to be imperfect. Yado would have to risk everything to gain that kind of power, because if he faltered at any point and mutated then it would all be over for him. Instead, he gave Buzzo the power that he needed and used him as another pawn in his game.

But heck, if he weren't so strong I wouldn't be able to love him so freakin' much.

... but what about Demon X from painful? He does like 10x the damage of buzzo.
