When Do Party Members Abandon The Group?

How many times can I rest before I lose a group member?

I think it's random. If you don't wanna lose a group member and have to pay the ransom, just pay 10 mags to stay in the Inn.

It's random. You can go an entire game without losing one.

You can also safely stay at the tent immediately to the left of crossroad area 1. The first time you stay there someone will club Brad in the face with a pipe and permanently decrease some stats (and change some animations) but every time after that it's safe. At least in normal mode, don't know about pain mode.

Would have been close to pointless to make it dangerous in normal mode anyway, since it's right next to a save crow. But that sure didn't stop me from saving every time before I slept there.
