As a struggling alcoholic and former pill addict it feels nice to not have my problems constantly thrown in my face every time I play this game. It really helps ease the already heavy experience. I really hope it becomes the default version for Steam as well so I feel more comfortable sharing it with my friends. It also has me considering reaching out to the old fan-game devs as well to see if they'll implement the changes as well.

Stop trolling and spreading misinformation, the Playstation version is the only one with changes like that and that's Sony's fault not Austin.
All Austin altered in the new version for other systems was mildly tweaking a pair of race jokes that weren't important and people didn't really care about, and removing the Shenmue grunt in Work Harder (Which is sad, but Copyright is unfortunate in general and it's understandable.)

And the OG version of the game is still actively available with you being able to launch it just by selecting Legacy mode.

I think it should just be made the new default option with it put in the menu. I thought Dingaling stated that the changes were more in line with his current values?
