Hello. I decided to replay this game recently, and when I stumbled on Black Ranger joke (instead of normal voice, he yells with monkey scream and says "no more racial jokes"), I decided to not play the game any further. How developer commented on this aspect of the game? Interview, maybe?

How will doesn't make it past, it means you are expecting a future interview, either way no such thing has ever happened and will never happen.

Yeah, because they’re all fictional characters, but this joke bases on real people. And it is developer who tells offensive joke (monkey noises), not fictional characters.

if you interperate a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ self aware race joke as "the dev thinks all black people are monkeys!!!11!" and proceed to complain about it on steam then thats your problem. (PS thats still a fictional character so that argument would mean you're taking it seriously, putting you in the same position as where YOU think the dev is)

The job of the artist is to put something out there and it's for the people whom play it, to get something from it or not.

I don't think it's really something for us to say one way or the other what Dingaling was going for here -- for all we know he was challenging stereotypes in a group of peers or maybe the Black Ranger even uses f*****g Monkey Style Martial Arts, we don't exactly fight them.

Also it is entirely okay to be offended by the joke and continue playing, I promise it won't make you a bad person. Contrary-wise you may decide this art isn't for you.

The developer was attacked tremendously for being a "SJW" and saying something like that he's ashamed to be white and privileged. So I have serious doubts he sees black ppl as monkeys.

If you think that any of the jokes in this game are supposed to be taken seriously then this is not your game. It is a very explicit game.

I've commented before, but think I can sum this up fairly well:

Quentin Tarantino writes racist characters and David Fincher makes films about dark subject matter, this doesn't make Quentin Tarantino a racist nor David Fincher an anarchist -- that's what fiction is.
