Problems getting the Weekend Getaway achievement

I've been playing The Painful recently not during school what are you talking about and I'm unable to get the Weekend Getaway achievement. I've gone to Resort Island, seen that statue of Yado's trumpet and the weird TV (I love this game SO much), and nothing. Is this a common bug? This is an armless save file and I have a two-arm save file but need a lot of progress to get to the conditions for Resort Island, should I just wait and grind it out? Thank you for taking a look

Have you found the secret room? Cause that's when you get the achievement.

Yes, follow the steps on this page and a hole in the wall in the tv room will appear. Go in there and interact with what's in there and you should get the achievement:
